Doodle alternative
Skip the poll. Get the time.
Stop guessing times and chasing votes. Everyone connects their calendar from one link, and Availi finds when you're all free.
Doodle made group polls famous: you propose a few times, everyone votes, you pick the winner. It works, but you're guessing the options and waiting on votes. Availi skips the poll. Everyone connects their calendar from one link, and Availi finds when a group of 3–10 is actually free and ranks every time by who can make it. Booking links for your 1:1s are included.
Book 10 people in 3 steps, not 19.
Booking 10 people with a Doodle poll: 19 steps
You
- Go to doodle.com and click Create a Doodle, past the ads.
- Enter your email, a title, a description, a location and video conferencing.
- Pick a duration.
- Guess times 9 other people might be free. You only see your own calendar, and only once it's connected.
- Click every option onto the calendar. Free polls stop at 20 times.
- Skip reminders, a deadline and sending invites from Doodle. They're all Pro.
- Click Sign up and share. An account is required.
- Create your Doodle account.
- Copy the link, write an email to all 9 and send it.
Each of 9 guests (×9)
- Open the link and get past the ads.
- Open their own calendar in another tab.
- Check each proposed time against it.
- Mark every time Yes, If need be or No.
- Enter their name and email, and submit.
You, again
- Wait for 9 people to vote.
- Work out who hasn't voted.
- Email them yourself. Automatic reminders are Pro.
- Wait again.
- Read the grid and weigh the If need be votes. Who's really coming?
- No time works? Add times and ask all 9 to vote again. The free plan gives you one group poll.
- Pick the final time and click Book it.
- Connect your calendar so a real invite goes out. Without one, Doodle only sends a confirmation email.
An If need be wins the vote. On the day, that person doesn't show.
Free plan: one group poll, up to 20 times, and ads for you and everyone you invite.

Questions about switching from Doodle
Is Availi a poll?
No. Instead of voting, everyone connects their calendar once and Availi works out when you're all free.
What if someone won't connect a calendar?
Availi ranks times by the people who have connected, and you can nudge anyone who hasn't in one click.
Do the people I invite need an account?
No. They connect their calendar from the invite link, with no sign-up.
What do guests share when they connect a calendar?
Only free/busy. Event titles, details and calendar names stay private, and guest calendar access is deleted within a week of the meeting being confirmed.
